NANA YAA ANNOBIL
Nana Yaa Annobil is a cinematographer, photographer, stylist, tailor and writer, working in the UK and Ghana. Nana Yaa is known internationally for her exquisite photography, styling and couture tailoring. Born into a family of artists, she is equally at home in film and still photography. Her penchant for storytelling and boundry-pushing is evident in all the genres and forms she works in. She has captured telling documentary photography in Ghana; directed and shot groundbreaking music album portraiture in New York; and she has produced exquisite food photography for important UK brands, such as Beyond Bread and Cafe Nero. An alumnus of University of Art London, Nana Yaa was a cinematographer on Stonedog documentray Equilibrio, shot at Abazzia San Giogio Maggiore, Venice. She was a commissioned photographer for the Howard Karshan Estate auction A Tale of Two Cities, at Phillips, London, and she is demand for art, event, product and society photography internationally. She is currently producing a film on asylum seekers in the UK.
